Certified Financial Management Planner, CFMP^TM - Development of Wealth Management Professionals

With the growing affluence of the society, wealth management has become much well received among the general public nowadays in Hong Kong, Macau and the Mainland. There is increasing demand for all rounded wealth management professionals – who have a thorough knowledge of financial services as well as the skill to identify individual financial needs, customize financial plan and perform on-going portfolio review in order to achieve the individual financial goals. CFMP, a professional designation conferred by HKIB, is the first and only one programme incorporating banking and wealth management practices that integrates international standards and local needs.

The certification examination consists of 7 subjects in two stages on issues regarding financial regulatory framework, investments, insurance, tax, fund and asset management and financial planning.
