QUALIFIED through Professional Examinations

• Associateship Examination – The Associateship Examination is a professional qualification for Associate (AHKIB^TM) of the Institute. There are four specialized areas of study which are Credit/ Treasury/ Operations/ Wealth Management. Upon completion of the subjects required and attaining a pass in a case study examination, members will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma with the title of the chosen specialized area listed on their Diploma. An Associate Scroll will be awarded when the experience requirements have been met.

• Accredited Banking Practitioners (ABP) Examination - The Accredited Banking Practitioners Examination covers essential knowledge required by every banking practitioner, including banking services, professional ethics, accounting and law in banking, financial systems and risk management.

• Certified Professional (CP) Examination: The Certified Professional Examination is designed for experienced banking practitioners to equip them with professional knowledge on specific business functions (Credit/ Operations/ Treasury/ Wealth Management).

• Certified Financial Management Planner (CFMP^TM) Examination – The Institute has launched this new examination since November 2003. This examination is particularly suitable for those who desire or engage in the field of financial planning.

All the examinations will provide you with unique banking qualifications and professional identities, which are essential to help you “fast-track” your career in the industry.
