With the mutual recognition agreement between HKIB and The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland (CIOBS) in place, members of the two organizations can now attain dual qualifications simply by passing a conversion program.  The conversion program applicable to AHKIB holders comprises a total of 2 subjects, namely, “Professionalism and Ethics” and “U.K. Financial Services”.  Performance in these two subjects will be assessed by their respective written examinations held by HKIB.

HKIB and CIOBS will devote full support to those who enroll in the respective conversion programs.  For AHKIB holders, they will receive comprehensive study aids such as online help and self-study workbook from CIOBS.
