Assistant Manager, Programme Development & Implementation

The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the development and enhancement of professional qualification programmes to meet accreditation and industry standards. This includes contributing to programme reviews, assisting in the creation and digitalisation of learning content, and transforming traditional training materials into engaging e-learning formats. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, ensuring quality and compliance, and supporting strategic projects as a core team member to strengthen the Institute’s offerings and learner experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development, and enhancement of professional qualification programmes to strengthen the competence of banking practitioners.
  • Support the annual review of existing programmes and contribute to the development of new programmes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development of E-learning courseware using tools such as Articulate 360 and other tools.
  • Provide input on innovative learning solutions and emerging technologies to enhance programme delivery as part of the digital transformation.
  • Support the manager for routine monitoring for programme enhancement, including annual review process, enrolment analysis, evaluation review or accreditation, if applicable.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors’ offers to provide insights for programme design and strategic development.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programme relevance and to raise market awareness.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing team, to assist in promotional activities for professional qualification programmes.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to support institutional objectives.

Job Requirement

  • Degree holder in Business, Finance, Education, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in programme development, training and development, or e-learning content creation. Experience in banking and financial services is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate 360) and Learning Management Systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative for effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Senior Officer level.
