Corporate Communication Manager
Job Purpose
The incumbent will lead and manage HKIB’s corporate communications initiatives, working closely with senior management and the marketing team as well as external vendors to enhance the Institute’s public profile and stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and drive integrated communications strategies to strengthen HKIB’s brand and corporate positioning.
- Work closely with CEO and management team in driving executives’ communications including but not limited to speeches, presentations, publicity materials, media engagements, etc.
- Prepare draft materials including event invitations, members communications, pre and post event promotional write-ups, etc.
- Manage external vendors on media relations and events, as well as annual industry surveys
- Oversees content development and coordinate with the publisher for the bi-monthly journals Banking Today
- Provide copywriting and editorial support for corporate and stakeholder communications
- Manage partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with other professional institutions, industry and academic partners
- Act as the gatekeeper for all assigned internal and external communications and promotional materials including annual reports, press releases, advertisements, advertorials, website and social media content, ensuring compliance with HKIB’s style guidelines
- Handle internal and external communications initiatives as assigned
- Assist in ad-hoc assignment as required
Job Requirements
- University degree holder or above, preferably in journalism, communications, PR & marketing discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record on corporate communication and PR
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Sound business acumen with a high sense of ownership and professionalism
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
