Manager – Continuing Development (CD)

The Manager (Continuing Development) will be responsible for developing a wide variety training programmes for the continuing development of banking professionals and devising marketing and promotional events and activities to promote such programmes of the Institute.  He/she will work closely with the business development team and programme operations team to ensure effective launch of new programmes to ensure continuous professional development of the industry.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, plan and develop programmes of Continuing Development (CD) including but not limited to CPD/CPT/OPT programmes, Directors Development Programmes, Certificates programmes and seminars to enhance the competence of the human capital in the industry

  • Plan and implement training programmes for CD to cater for market needs and regulatory requirements

  • Support Business Development Team to plan and organize promotional activities of CD programmes

  • Execute measures to manage the quality of CD training programmes and projects

  • Participate in projects related to CD and competence development

  • Explore and collaborate with internal departments, external partners, trainers, writers, examiners and subject experts to strengthen and expand resources for the Institute

  • Assist the management to achieve the best in team development

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder or above; major in Banking & Finance disciplines preferred

  • Holders of HKIB professional qualifications such as Certified Banker, ECF professional qualifications, will be advantageous

  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience in the banking & financial industries, or training & development disciplines, with 2 years in supervisory level

  • Experience in development of e-Learning CDP will be advantageous

  • Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Energetic, customer oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and result oriented

  • Proficient in MS Office & Chinese word processing

  • Good command in both written and spoken English
